Zululand District Municipality Bulk Water Meter Installation
Our Role
Innovative Engineering Hub was appointed by Inzalo UMS as a specialist subcontractor to supply and install bulk electromagnetic water meters across key points within the Zululand District. Our scope covered technical specification alignment, meter installation, calibration, and seamless integration into the district’s water management infrastructure.
- Installation of 80 bulk electromagnetic water meters, ranging in size from 50 mm to 150 mm
- Commissioning, accuracy testing, and integration with monitoring systems
- Coordination with municipal teams to ensure minimal disruption
- Basic training for local personnel on meter operation and maintenance

Our Role
Engaged by Inzalo UMS, Innovative Engineering Hub was responsible for the installation of large-diameter electromagnetic water meters to strengthen the Tsantsabane Local Municipality’s capacity to monitor and manage bulk water flows. Our technical team oversaw everything from site preparation to commissioning.

Site Preparation & Civil Works – Tshwane Special Economic Zone (Sodecia Platform)
Our Role
Innovative Engineering Hub was subcontracted by Mapitsi Civil Works to execute critical site preparation works at the Sodecia Automotive Platform within the Tshwane SEZ. Our role focused on enabling foundational earthworks by preparing the platform for infrastructure rollout through vegetation clearing, grubbing, and material hauling.

Pumphouse Construction, Filtration & Water Storage System – Geosure Project
Our Role
Innovative Engineering Hub was subcontracted by Geosure to deliver a turnkey water infrastructure solution for a private-sector client. Our scope involved the construction of a reinforced pumphouse, installation of a custom-designed filtration system, and setup of high-capacity storage to enhance water supply reliability and quality.
